- Gain skills and confidence to prepare for work, such as creating a resume, interview preparation and job searching
- Develop personal skills like time management, communication, and teamwork
- Find and secure a job
- Discover transport options to commute to and from work
- Support and coach you on the job to help you succeed in your work
- Develop career plans to including training and upskilling.
NDIS funding can also support you on your search for work through “Increased Social and Community Participation” to develop things like social skills and independence that can help you on your path to employment. The NDIS will only fund supports that are considered ‘reasonable and necessary’, so supports must be related to your disability and provide value for money.
