OUR VISION
We believe that the opportunity to participate in meaningful employment and activities has a profound impact on many areas of someone’s life. From learning new skills, participating in a team, developing communication skills, building confidence and earning money. Having positive activities planned can provide the motivation to get up in the morning with purpose and structure.
Employment focused pathways are different for everyone. While some participants have the confidence to start work immediately and understand their support needs, others may need a slow and steady approach to investigate what suitable employment looks like. We help to navigate this journey with activities that may include:
- Industry and employer visits
- Work experience
- Volunteering
- Training.
Together we establish your individual goals and put supports in place to help achieve these.
Our services extend from the Sunshine Coast to the North side of Brisbane and everything in between.
We offer a no obligation, meet and greet opportunity to discuss if our supports would be suitable for your needs. Let us know your preference and we can arrange either face to face, phone or virtual meeting. Call or email to arrange a meeting.

FAQs
Who is eligible for the NDIS?
To be eligible, you’ll need to meet some basic criteria relating to your age, Australian Residency status and the nature of your disability.
What are the eligibility requirements to be registered with Rapt Supports?
You will need to have an NDIS plan that is self-managed or plan-managed. Call us if you would like to discuss if your plan covers the supports we deliver.
What is NDIS SLES funding, and who is eligible?
NDIS School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) funding assists young people, who are living with disability, to move from school to employment. Participants are either in their last year of school or have recently left school. Eligibility is determined by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) based on the individual’s NDIS plan and goals. SLES is funded under Capacity Building – ‘Finding and Keeping a Job’ in your NDIS plan.
What are the expectations of SLES?
Rapt Supports assists SLES participants to get ready for work, to find and keep a job. We will support you to develop your employment pathway and deliver tailored activities. These can include work experience, work preparation (including creating resumes, mock interviews), developing personal skills (communication, teamwork, time management), other foundation skills for work (work behaviours or money handling), job customisation, employer connection and education.
Can my Rapt Support Worker be with me to attend job interviews, work trials and when I start a job?
Yes. Rapt Support Workers can be with you for support until you feel confident to attend by yourself.
Can NDIS funding be used for travel training?
Yes. NDIS funding can be used for travel training as part of supports to increase a participant’s independence. Travel training can help learn how to confidently catch public transport and build independence for travel to work.
Can my parent or guardian be involved?
Absolutely. We support family to be involved throughout our delivery of service. It is a requirement for any young person under 18 to have a parent/guardian present when registering.
How are my family kept up to date on my progress with Rapt Supports?
We use a program called ShiftCare Connect and can create an individual profile for participants and their families to view progress notes, documents, invoices, etc. It keeps participants and their loved ones involved and provides reassurance they’re in good hands.
Where do Rapt Supports operate?
We cover from Noosa on the Sunshine Coast down to the Northern suburbs of Brisbane and everything in between. If you are not sure if you are in our service area, give us a call.
If I am interested to discuss registering with Rapt Supports, what is next?
Call us on 0414923189 or complete an enquiry request. We can arrange a no obligation, face to face meeting in a location of your choice to discuss our services and supports.
